Q. I saw something i really liked but it's sold out in my size. When will you be getting more?

Due to the nature of the apparel industry, it is often not possible for us to obtain more of an item after it sells out. Most often, if we do restock something that was sold out, it will appear back on our New Arrivals page. Your best bet is to bookmark or check our New Arrivals page regularly- we update it daily! and when you see something you love, get it quickly! It may not be around for long!

Q. I placed an order and it said my address was wrong and my order was declined but there is an authorization on my card statement! What gives?
A. What you are referring to is called an authorization hold. This is not an actual charge to the credit card and the bank will release the funds back to the card after the authorization expires (between 3 days and a month depending on the bank). It’s important to note that a transaction declined for AVS or CCV has still been approved by the card issuing bank and the requested funds will be placed on hold, thereby reducing your available credit. How can you avoid this? Use the correct address when you order! If your order is declined for a nonmatching address, do not resubmit your order with the same information, as it will still not go through and may result in another hold on your funds! We try very hard to make this as clear to our customers as possible by stating throughout the checkout process that your address must be your billing address.

Q. I saw a charge was on my online banking account when I placed my order. Now it is not there at all and I am wondering if there was something wrong with my order?

A. Please see above. What you are seeing is an authorization. When you place an order, an authorization is made verifying that you have the available credit to make the purchase. But this is not a charge! We do not actually charge your card until we ship your order. Sometimes an authorization shows on your statement as "pending" or "unsettled activity".  There is no problem with your order. We are processing it as fast as we can and you will be notified when your order ships to you.

Q. How do I know if my order went through?

A. When you order, you are provided an order number which you can use to track your order. We also email you a confirmation. If you do not get a confirmation, please check your spam folder. You can also check your order status using our online tracking and the order number you were given after checkout. Please note, if you pay with Google checkout, google sends the confirmation, not us.

Q How much is shipping on "insert item here"?

A. Shipping depends on weight and destination. You can quickly and easily see shipping charges by adding item(s)to your cart and selecting your ship destination country. You do not need to enter any personal information or go through checkout to get a shipping cost.

Q. I have big calves. Will your boots fit me?

A. Our footwear has standard calf sizing. If you have difficulty buying boots due to calf size, you will almost certainly experience the same difficulty buying boots from us. We try to note the calf measurements in the descriptions. Please note, when a boot has a zipper up the side AND laces, you should really still unlace the boot. You may find it fits fine. Zippers are really to assist in your taking the boots off quickly, not so much putting them on quickly.

Q. Do you have a catalog?

A. No. Our website is our catalog. Our website is updated daily with new items. Please check back often!

Q. Where is your size chart?

A.You can find a general size chart here

However, most item pages contain item specific size charts for that particular item. All hosiery, tights, stockings ets are one size fits most, 95-165 lbs unless otherwise noted. All socks are 9-11 and will fit size 5-12 ladies shoe sizes unless otherwise noted

Q. Where are you located?

A. We are a *mail order only* company. We do not have a store front. We are located in scenic and historic (boring?) Westfield, in Western Massachusetts. We do not offer pickup service of any kind. You cannot pick up your order at our warehouse.

Q. Can I pay via paypal or googlecheckout?

A. We accept all major credit and debit cards. That means specifically, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, or any debit card that has one of those major card logos on the front. We accept generic "gift" cards from Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover as well. You can buy "gift" cards at most supermarkets, convenience, drug stores and department stores.  We also accept Google Checkout and Paypal.

Q. Do you do wholesale?

A. I'm sorry, Not at this time.

Q. Can you give me a list of your suppliers?

A. No. We do not give that information out.

Q. What is patent? What is p.u? Matte?

A. Patent is shiny. P.U or matte is not shiny and looks like leather. both are manmade materials.

Q. I am in some foreign country. Can I order boots?

A. Yes , but.PLEASE NOTE. When you get your package, there will likely be a duty imposed by your country.  You will probably have to pay MORE to get your parcel. We can not control the cost of the duties and taxes levied on parcels. We do not collect this monoy or recieve it. When you place a foreign order, please know that you will probably also have to pay duty to your government upon delivery.

Q. Do you do custom Clothing? Baby clothing? Do you alter/shorten/adjust length of etc...the clothing you sell?

A. No we do not. Nor can we make an item specifically for you. We do not manufacture the clothing we carry. We're not sewing people. :( You should be able to find a local tailor or seamstress in your local area by looking in your local yellow pages under "Alterations" or "tailor".

Q. I don't have a credit card. Can I order from you?

A. We apologize but we have decided to no longer accept mailed in orders. We do accept debit cards, however. Most checking accounts will also issue you a debit card which you can use just like a credit card at goodgoth. Ask your bank teller for details. If you do not have a bank account or a credit card, we also accept gift cards that contain a visa, mastercard, american express or discover logo. Gift cards are now available at almost any retail store, including drugstores, Walmart, Convenience stores, malls, supermarkets and department stores. We also accept Paypal.

Q. Is the glue in your shoes vegan?

A. No. We don't know what the glue is made of. :(

Q. I need something you sell in a bigger size than is listed.

A. We offer the full size ranges available from the manufacturers. Our apologies but we can not get any item in a size not listed on the website.

Q. How long does it take?

A. We ship every order as quickly as possible and most orders ship within 2-8 business days. However, stock sellouts, the mad holiday rush, etc mean your order can take up to 30 days to ship. If you need to recieve your order by a specific date, please note that on your order. If your date cannot be met, you will be notified. Please be sure to indicate by when you will need to recieve the order.

Q. Do you accept foreign orders?

A. Sure! and thanks in part to the ever plummeting U.S dollar, you may get yourself a bargain!  We accept foreign orders placed with credit card. Note however, that foreign orders are scrutinized very closely. There is a particularly high level of fraud amongst certain unstable regions. Orders placed from these regions will undergo rigorous fraud detection. As a general rule, foreign orders require additional processing time. Please also note that customs regulations prohibing the import of certain items are always evolving. We can no longer send jewelry outside the U.S due to these regulations.

Q. I have an event coming up and I need my order ASAP! Can I place a rush order?

A. If you have a need by date, please indicate it in the "additional comments" field in the shopping cart. Please do not write "ASAP" because every order at goodgoth ships ASAP! Please provide a specific date so we will know if it can be met. Q. Where's my Stuff!

A. Please allow up to 30 days for processing as well as time for delivery. If you have a question of need something by a certain date, please indicate so on our order in the "additional comments" field. Please help us out by stating any 'need by' date when you order. If your need by date can not be met, or express shipping charges will apply, we will contact you ASAP.

Q. I bought some dye from you and it didnt work on my hair. Can I return it?

A. Hair dye is not returnable. We carry Special Effects and Punky Colour brands- they are, in our opinion, the absolute BEST temporary weird dyes on the PLANET. Tried, tested and true. We love them. We use them. And they work.

Q. What is your return policy?

Q. Are your cosmetics tested on animals?

A. We are vegetarian owned and operated and we always have been! Goodgoth brand cosmetics are not tested on animals. However, they may contain animal byproducts such as beeswax or lanolin. Special Effects hair Dye is vegan and not tested on animals. Punky Colour is not tested on animals. Our footwear is non leather unless noted otherwise

Q. Can you mark my foreign parcel as a gift so I don't have to pay duty on it?

A. No, we can not. All parcels are marked merchandise and customer is responsible for any duty. We apologize for the existence of duties on parcels to certain countries, however, this it beyond our control. Taxes and duties are levied by your Country, not by Goodgoth.com or the U.S A. Marking merchandise as a gift is illegal and we will not do it. We love you. Honest. But we won't break the law for you.

Q. Can you ship my order to a different address other than my credit card billing address?

A.No.We apologize for any inconvenience, however, our merchant bank takes credit card fraud seriously and has a strict policy of acceptance. Yes, we ship to P.O Boxes if it is your credit card's billing address. Yes, we accept debit cards as long as they have a visa or mastercard logo on them. We can make only one exception to this policy and that is if you use Google Checkout and they guarantee your transaction. (they guarantee most of them  from what we've seen so far) or you use Paypal and have an approved second address on file.
